Lucinda Currell is a visual artist who lives in Sydney on the lands of the Cammeraygal People. Her work focuses on her witness and imaginings of place and the feelings of care it arouses for the environment. She makes drawings, prints, paintings, animations and experimental videos.
Lucinda completed her BFA (2019) and MFA (2022) degrees at the Lebanese University Institute of Fine Arts and BA (Hons) degree in English and Classics (2004) at the University of Melbourne. She was a scholarship holder at the Beirut Printmaking Studio (2022) and a resident at Ashkal Alwan (2023).
Lucinda has exhibited in group shows in Beirut, Paris, and Sydney.
